Howdy SingleStore Friends!
In the spirit of continuous improvement, we are constantly making updates to support the community experience on our forums. For this announcement, we will be discussing updates to tagging.
The newest tag added is called the “trial” tag.
The trial tag is for all using a trial of SingleStoreDB Cloud. If you use the trial version and post a question on the forum, please add the trial tag to let the community know. This will also better indicate what kind of help you might need from our team members.
While we offer a community version of SingleStoreDB and paid versions of SingleStoreDB and SingleStoreDB Cloud, it wasn’t clear where to go if you were somewhere between them. Free support traditionally went through the forum. In contrast, a paid license went through our paid support channel. Now available for trial users in our managed cloud, faster support is offered for those that use the trial tag using our forum.
When a request comes through the forum with the tag “trial,” we will have the added ability to get additional support on your behalf. We may need to confirm your trial status for those using a different email address than the one you used when registering your trial. We’ll PM you if we need to get those details from you. So be on the lookout for that.
