WARN: Failed to read PPC purge ID of .ver file

After upgrade from 7.0.14 to 7.1.4 we received several hundred warnings that appear to be related to flushing stale plans:

into memory.

Can we get an explanation of these warnings?

Thanks,
Marty

The warning about PPC purge IDs is because MemSQL did not have PPC purge IDs until version 7.1.

When you upgrade MemSQL, it will remove plans from the old version the first time it starts. That is the cause of the message “Deleted 6399 stale plans from disk in 1 seconds.”
