Technical requirements
Part of ConveYour’s qualification for determining a Rockset alternative was to compare key features — including things like low-latency streaming writes, nested JSON support, crazy fast performance and SQL support. You can see their full comparison matrix here, along with other databases evaluated.
After reviewing Apache Pinot, StarTree, Clickhouse and CrateDB, ConveYour decided to move forward with SingleStore for their Rockset migration. And in their own words, here’s what it came down to:
