Former NetApp, Sun Microsystems, HP Executive Mark Weber Joins SingleStore Advisory Board

San Francisco, CA - November 12, 2015 - SingleStore, the leader in real-time databases for transactions and analytics, today announced that industry veteran Mark Weber has joined the company’s advisory board, bringing decades of IT leadership at technology giants including NetApp, Sun Microsystems, and HP. Weber joins an advisory board comprised of industry visionaries and IT leaders guiding SingleStore as it drives innovation in the database market.

Most recently, Weber served as senior vice president for the Americas and U.S. public sector at NetApp, which achieved dominant market share in the U.S. public sector during his tenure. Weber led multiple internal teams, ranging from engineering to operations throughout the Americas, to serve customers across vertical industries including enterprise, commercial, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, government, and education. Prior to joining NetApp, Weber spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems.
