build-a-notebook-showcasing-any-of-the-followingBuild a notebook showcasing any of the following:

  1. Multi-model Application: You could build a multi-model application that supports JSON, geospatial, time-series, or full-text search using SingleStore Notebooks.
Example 1: Animal Explorer | Devpost
    Example 2:
Beyond Vectors: How to Build a ChatGPT Super App

  2. Hybrid Transaction/Analytical Processing (HTAP) Application: Another idea could be to build an application that requires a high-volume of transactions along with analytical queries on big data and/or streaming data.
Example: How to integrate OpenAI GPT3 with a Databases - Crash Course

  3. Wasm/WebAssembly Project: You could implement any calculation or function that does not exist in SingleStoreDB today by writing a new Wasm UDF.
Example: GitHub - singlestore-labs/singlestore-wasm-toolkit: Tools to streamline development of Wasm UDFs for SingleStoreDB.

  4. Machine Learning (ML) / Artificial Intelligence (AI) Model: Another exciting idea could be to train and/or execute a ML or AI model entirely within SingleStoreDB. For instance, a participant of last year’s hackathon built a Movie Recommender application that enables users to spend time watching rather than searching for movies.
    Example 1: https://github.com/SidmoGoesBrrr/movie-recommender
    Example 2:
Ai Development! Build a Chatbot To Help You Cheat at reading anything! (Super Simple!)

  5. Database Migration Project: You can create a project to migrate any application to SingleStoreDB. For example, the winner of the 2022 Hackathon built an Airbyte SingleStore Connector, a destination connector for a widely used, open-source ELT platform.
    Example: https://github.com/mohamagdy/airbyte/pull/2

  6. Build a recommendation system for students, like a movie recommendation application:
    Example 1: https://github.com/singlestore-labs/spaces-notebooks/tree/master/notebooks/movie-recommendation
